Carissa Uzabeaga
Carissa is a social worker who has 20 years of clinical experience, across an array of clinical settings including child protection, mental health and disability. She works from an eclectic practice framework drawing from a number of theories and models to inform her practice.

Carissa has extensive supervision experience supervising professionals across all clinical fields and levels of experience. She has a strong focus on evidence based practice and strives herself on providing a safe and supportive environment that promotes reflective practice and growth and development.
​
She utilises the PASE supervision model focusing on Administrative, Educational, Support and Practice areas to inform the supervision session.
​
With nearly 10 years of experience in management and leadership her skills and knowledge in team dynamics, organisational planning and development are an asset to any who wish to get the best from their team working towards shared goals. Carissa is a dynamic and engaging presenter and aims to lead all involved through an interactive and explorative process resulting in improved outcomes and increased enthusiasm.

Her use of a restorative approach to critical incident debriefs allows staff involved to feel heard and heal whilst being supported to work through the incident in a way that promotes future focused goals.
